1900s Photo Pennsylvania Farm Wagon


Two horses are pulling a wagon loaded with what appears to be thick strips of bark. The wagon is in front of a handsome Victorian house.

Handwritten on the back: “Frank Enos on a load of bark from Ora C. Gage Farm – Fox Hill. Ora C. Gage’s Team on Market St. where new Warren High School now is. This school replaces old Warren High.”

Ora C. Gage and his wife lived in Russell, Pennsylvania. He died in 1923; his wife, Jennie, in 1925.

Condition: Excellent with some wear on corners. Size: overall 12 x 10. Image 9.5 x 7.
